New Year's Eve Party - Glitter & Gold
Glam up the New Year with this easy Glitter & Gold dessert table!
Using leftover Christmas wrapping paper, I created a sparkly backdrop
These marshmallow pops were easy to make - dipped in white candy melts, then sprayed with gold mist food coloring. A brushing of edible pearl gold dust and a Necco candy wafer with a clock face drawn in with an edible marker & attached with candy melts. Adding silver dragees on the bottom with a toothpick & candy melts finished the glittery pop!
Party hat cookies! White chocolate dipped Oreos topped with a gold fondant star & an ice cream cone party hat. The fondant was sprayed gold with edible food coloring mist, then dusted with edible pearl gold dust. The hat is a ice cream cone tip that was sprayed with pearl white edible mist and also brushed with edible gold dust. I topped it with a snowflake sprinkle that I dusted gold.
Champagne cupcakes with fondant gold stars and a strawberry slice. You can substitute sparkling cider for the champagne if you wish!
Party Poppin' popcorn - this treat is SO EASY to make and everyone LOVES it! Pop microwave white popcorn in the bag. Spread out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with white chocolate or white candy melts or vanilla CANDIQUIK. (I used CANDIQUIK.) Then sprinkle with a package of strawberry Pop Rocks candy and let dry. Break into pieces and store in air tight container.
Happy New Year!!!!!
