New Year's Eve Tablescape
I like to have a mix of homemade appetizers and store bought ones, and for this party, presentation is the key! See how great a simple cucumber salad looks?
For the centerpiece, I used a large vase from Michael's filled with leftover Christmas ornaments from Target. I put a few ostrich feathers from Michael's in the centerpiece along with some black and silver beaded necklaces from Party City and the centerpiece looked grand!
For each setting, I chose black plastic plates from Party City and white linen napkins from Tablecloths Factory. I used plastic, realistic looking flatware, from Party City and my own crystal stemware. Then I topped each place setting with a favor tin (also found at Party City, Michaels or Jo-Ann Fabrics). I found a clip-art clock face and printed it off to fit the tin and presto! You have a cute little memento filled with mints for each guest to take home.
This show-stopper of a table cost me less than $45 and I use it every year!
