Memorial Day Weekend Ideas
I get that Memorial Day is more than picnics and a 3 day weekend - my father was a B-17 Bombardier in WWII and also served in the Korean War.
I am forever grateful for those who serve and who have served and to those who have paid the ulitmate sacrifice for our great country.
Last year my father passed at 93 years young. He had a sweet tooth that I inherited and he loved a good patriotic cookie. He loved getting together on Memorial Day weekend with the whole family.
So enjoy the weekend with those you love, celebrate the fact that we live in this great country, and give thanks to those who serve and their families.
